International Partners
YSI works collaboratively with indigenous NGOs, social and educational entrepreneurs, foundations and government leaders who have demonstrated a strong commitment to youth service. Operating through these partnerships, YSI is able to provide the training and technical assistance, programming and policy advice that helps to establish an infrastructure for youth service in these countries.  One of YSI's greatest challenges is to cut across the programming stovepipes that have evolved within foundations and international development agencies in order to forge alliances to advance an international youth service movement. By pulling these partners into an international network, YSI is able to leverage their expertise and spirit of innovation for the benefit of transitional democracies throughout the world.
