Poland: Wojtowice

• The City: A city of 50,000 people, Wojtowice is located in the southwestern part of Poland and includes four boroughs (gminas): Bystrzyca Klodzka, Ladek Zdroj, Miedzylesie and Stronie Slaskie.
• Local Partner: Snow Mountain Community Fund.
• Coordinator: Dorota Komornicka.
• Volunteer Group: 35 young volunteers in several areas in the Sudeten region of Poland.
• Sample Project: The Saint Nicolas Emergency Project. For Christmas 2001, volunteers collected gifts and packages then distributed them to local children in need. They involved many local shops and members of the community.
