The Ecuador
Service Project
The Ecuador Service Project (ESP),
based on YSI’s successful HAVE
program in Hungary, is an opportunity for students
of higher education in the US to work shoulder-to-shoulder
with their peers in Ecuador on a tangible community
service project. The program is designed to:
- addresses important, locally defined
community needs;
- promote cross-cultural understanding
and international cooperation between youth in higher
education from the US and Ecuador; and
- act as a catalyst for the development
of broader youth service programming and policy across
Ecuador throughout the year.
