YSI Model in Hungary
YSI has developed a flagship
program in Hungary under the name DIA, combining grassroots
youth service pilots, high quality training and technical
assistance, and youth service research and policy-making.

The
East East Program
With the support of the Open Society
Institute, YSI convened 50 key youth service stakeholders
from Russia, Poland and Hungary at the European Youth
Center - Budapest, producing a concrete action plan for
developing a youth service network across Central and
Eastern Europe. |

Ecuador
Service Project
Over two summers, students from
Reed College (Oregon,
USA), Pontificia Universidad
Católica del Ecuador, and Universidad
de San Francisco (Ecuador) have worked side-by-side
on reforestation and sanitation projects in Sigchos, Ecuador,
an indigenous community bordering the Amazon Basin. |
